Confession

I have a confession to make. I've been holding back in my writing. Fear and the pursuit of perfection have hindered my creative growth. I don't know when I discovered this, but I know for sure that I need to make a change. I need to let go, and be myself. I need to relax when I write. I need to write for myself. My advice to you, dear reader, is to be free. Be free when you do the things you love. Do not seek perfection when expressing yourself. Be passionate, but you mustn't be perfect. This is a journey. We are meant to stumble and fall, it's how we come across the corners and holes, the places where we learn the greatest lessons. So fall. And do not regret the scars that teach you, the wounds that heal you. They all remind you; you are human. Embrace every aspect of that being.
